I won't be back! Duke has my Services as far as psychiatric care! I am not going to feel uncomfortable in a facility that I am stuck with a man in my room and no shower! Unethical!
For the most part, the service (food, housekeeping, volunteers, etc) is excellent... the healthcare has traditionally been superb, professional, yet still caring, and on point.
I HAD DOCTOR'S APPOINTMENT WITH DOCTOR ANN MOUNSEY, I HAD TO TALK WITH MY DOCTOR CONCERNING MY HEALTH!! MY DOCTOR TOLD ME THAT I AM ALRIGHT!! I LOVE UNC FAMILY MEDICINE, THEY TAKE GOOD CARE OF ME!!
There are really nice people who work here. They make you feel like your at home
I have nothing but great things to say about UNC and the staff I would highly recommend ppltake the time to go to unc even if it isn't close the friendliness and concern of the staff for my well being really sealed the deal for me I'll be going to UNC hospital for all of my needs
Have had a bad week. Patient being ignored, left to sit on a bedside toilet and bedpan for hours. Some Rude staff. Having to wait way past time for meds to get them. Not to mention we had someone steal things from our room.
I've been going to UNC hospital for 40+ years for treatment and care for my hemophilia and the issues that arise form it. Overall, the doctors, nurses, and staff have been excellent. They are concerned about getting you the right treatment and will work with you to plan the right path for you. I would have given them 5 stars, except I've had too many issues over the years with their billing department, so be sure you pay close attention to what they bill you and your insurance. Dr. Grant Buttram from Rex Neurosurgery and Spine performed and L5-S1 fusion surgery on me in June of 2014. Prior to surgery I experienced severe back pain which radiated down my leg. I'm very active and the pain impeded my ability to do the things that I loved like running, golf and most other sports. After surgery, rehab and personal workouts, I was pain free and I slowly returned to the activities that I enjoyed prior to surgery.
