RecommendedSJC is just the right airport for me..clean and organize!
It took them a while to upgrade this airport. I remember traveling 26 weeks 2008-2009 between ABQ and SJC and we still had to exit the plane unto the tarmac. Hard to imagine that the town had the most number of billionaires residing in it with that airport. I would say that for an airport nestle amongst buildings it is done quite well and not loud I am sure not all types are allowed to land. I like the airport much better now but still a bit lifeless. Wish there were better eating options as well.
Going through security was a breeze. They have it really organized. It worth going a little farther to go through their security compared to some of the neighboring airports.
Quick lines and friendly TSA folks. Love it. The airport is clean and easy to navigate.

Going through security was a breeze. They have it really organized. It worth going a little farther to go through their security compared to some of the neighboring airports.
I love SJC. What I don't love is renting a car. The walk from baggage is long, you have to walk outside with no covered walkway to the bus stop, which doesn't have adequateade coverage, and trying to return your rental car is the same process in reverse. In the summer, standing at the stop in the baking heat is awful. In the winter, you and your luggage get drenched. However, I know what a fight it was to expand that airport in the first place, so I understand why it is the way it is.
