RecommendedI love SJC. What I don't love is renting a car. The walk from baggage is long, you have to walk outside with no covered walkway to the bus stop, which doesn't have adequateade coverage, and trying to return your rental car is the same process in reverse. In the summer, standing at the stop in the baking heat is awful. In the winter, you and your luggage get drenched. However, I know what a fight it was to expand that airport in the first place, so I understand why it is the way it is.
It's so ridiculous that the signs for rental pick up directs you to a parking station, where a) you can't reverse because it's blocked off to get out and b) you have to pay for the parking for dropping someone off, which takes two seconds. The lady in the intercom was not helpful at all. This is BS
