2 hrs queue for passport control on arrival. It's quicker and cheaper to fly via San Francisco if you need to be in San Jose. 3 immigration clerks for visitors and 3 clerks for citizens, 500 passengers. Imagine how long this takes with fingerprinting. Arrival hall non existent you are ejected to the street. Toilet in passport control was dirty. Small area, queue was all the way in a tiny corridor almost all the way to arrival gates. Avoid.

I had no problems at SJC airport. Everything went smoothly. Everyone I dealt with was courteous. No complaints.
It's been 10 years since I flew into SJC. I can't believe the way that place is run. The only positive thing is the moved the rental car location closer. Other than that, I would not want to have a concession in A terminal. Flying on JetBlue, I arrived before 6PM for a 9:30PM flight that boards at 9AM. I wanted to check my bag, get through TSA and relax a bit with a sit down dinner. That went sideways when there were no ticket agents at most of the counters except Delta. My driver's license fell out of the security bin, under the machine. I had to go back and ask the attendant if they found it, and noticed it on the floor in their area. That could have been messy ...
Great facility. Just wish that there was a light rail spur like OAK
