My husband received mediocre care....not sure we would go back
This hospital saved my life twice from severe sepsis shock. The ER STAFF was beyond excellent in diagnosis and moving as fast as they could to get me into emergency surgery ..I'll never forget how I could have been dead if it wasn't for them. They were amazing to me and my family and made sure we had everything we needed when I was ready to go home including an awesome nurse to come three times a week thru Atlantic health ..she got me thru the aftermath
My grandfather and mother both had recent stays here and I can say, without a doubt, this is a terrible "hospital". When I raised the issue of being upset because my mother hadn't been given any food since being admitted (because they couldn't figure out test scheduling) I was bluntly told by a staffer "She ain't gonna die". This place is a nightmare.
Waited in severe pain for 5 hours , although nurses very nice there sit and wait very unorganized, finally get in er put on stretcher in hallway no room wait there for another hour....
Went in for carpal tunnel operation. The nurses made sure I was okay. The entire crew who worked on me was great. Would go back and get my other wrist done.
Ended up in the ER with serious abdominal and back pain. I was approached by numerous staff asking if they could get me anything to make me more comfortable they were very accommodating. Very sweet and personable nurses. I was made very comfortable I had a diagnosis quickly. Some of the staff had no idea that I was an employee there is well and they did everything exactly as we are all trained to do. Even though I was in pain it was an excellent experience.
