Just had a wonderful day at Cruden Bay and stayed the night at Newburgh Inn. The rooms were clean having been recently refurbished. The staff were extremely friendly and helpful and the food was excellent - although breakfast kept us going for the day - the plate was overflowing!
Sanja & nick were amazing hosts. The room was great, probably the best shower we had on our whole trip. Both dinner and breakfast were nice fresh meals The size of the dinner menu was very surprising, huge selection of food I would definitely recommend both dining here and staying overnight
I can't comment on the rooms as we haven't stayed here. However, we did pop in for a drink after visiting Seal Beach (that was spectacular). The food smelled really lovely and looked great on other people's plates, so we decided to eat as well. I ordered the Lamb Shoulder and my wife the Chicken and Chorizo Rissotto (gluten free). The food came out piping hot and my veg were lovely and firm, not soggy. The lamb was delicious and the mustard mash amazing. The same could be said of the rissotto. We didn't stay but popped in for drinks after visiting the seals, and the food smelt so good we had to try it. Not disappointed. The food was exceptional. I had risotto and my husband the lamb. Both were great. Staff were lovely. Really helpful and personable.
