Don’t even deserve the 1* rating, they were brought in to complete an insurance claim. My grandad had a house fire December 2023, It was months before anyone made an appearance, when they did eventually turn up they were rude, unprofessional and unqualified. The 2 rooms down stairs were priority, in the living room they replaced a radiator, couldn’t get a fixing in the original holes therefore they have fixed the radiator lower but not adjusted the pipes so they just bent the existing pipes and forced into the radiator. Had insurance work done in our bathroom last May by Neways.As Autumn approached we started to get damp in the bathroom and the adjacent spare bedroom. Our own plumber investigated to find they had left a gap between the new floor boards ,which they fitted and the outside wall and also a hole in the corner where they had done some pipe work. Illegal and dangerous driving from Neways Building & Maintenance Contractors. I was on the zebra crossing on Sandygate Road, Crosspool, Sheffield, this morning (17/01/2025) and a Neways van drove straight through the crossing. The driver didn't see me because he was using his mobile phone whilst driving. This is a residential neighbourhood with elderly and children living close by and we will not tolerate this disregard from safety. Our landlord had some work done via insurance by Neways. I cannot recommend them enough. All the workers that have been are highly professional, polite, curteous, and have gone above and beyond. Everything has been completed to a high standard and I genuinely have not one negative thing to say. The people who work at the office always respond quickly and are also professional. We would highly recommend this company.
