I had a wonderful stay at this lovely guest house. The room was beautiful, comfortable, and perfect for a relaxing getaway. The breakfast is absolutely worth it—delicious food served in a cozy dining room. The chef is friendly and really helps create a warm, welcoming atmosphere. All the staff are great. Overall, a fantastic experience. Highly recommended!
This hotel deserves more than three stars. The place is gorgeous, well kept and clean. It is abit of a maze trying to find your room but that's expected in a building like this. There is parking on site charged at £20 a night, it was alittle hard to find at first but we managed to find it. The location is about 25 mins walk from the city centre which is its only downside but still we thoroughly enjoyed our stay and will be back!
The New Holgate is a great place to stay. The rooms are lovely and your stay is made all the better by the friendly staff, in particular Owen. He was super friendly and helpful, making the check in process a pleasure! I’d definitely recommend staying here.
Nice room, comfy bed and tasty breakfast. Short walk from the train station and good location to explore york from.
