I am still in disbelief and appalled by what happened at the New Bethel Ordinary last night. I was berated by the manager and owner's son, Matt. A group of 13 of us, 6 of which were small children, were headed to Monster Jam in Indianapolis. We were on a bus that we had decorated for Monster Jam with the kids, so we called in and ordered pizza from The Ordinary to eat on the bus. On the way, the bus broke down. Been going here for years, last night was a truly unbelievably long wait for a veggie pizza, and the crust was so hard you couldn't cut it, we have great places in Shelbyville now, so probably won't ever go back, the wait was 55 minutes even after our appetizer, by then we just took it home
The pizza and the service was awesome. We will definitely be going back. We went for my mom's birthday, the whole place sang happy birthday to her. We had the best time, we shared cupcakes with the staff and some customers. Wonderful down home and family place.
We had the pizza, Chicago's is better, what else can we say. Place is nice, can't tell you about the other entrées. We just were not impressed with the pizza, especially with all the bragging about it. Won't go back. There are other great places to eat!!!!!
