They charge foreign transactions fees even if the vendor is domestic and has never been based outside of the country. Theft by deception and fraud under any interpretation of the law.

Apparently they can change banks on you. I was expecting a deposit and within the span of 2 weeks they changed info so routing was different. This made the deposits go back and I had 2 wait on a paper check. Whats the point in direct deposit if it doesn't work. Just don't do business with them. Stay as far away as possible.

Someone stole my card/information and charged over 6,000 in fraudulent charges. 30 days after I filed dispute I received a message from netspend that case was closed and no error was found. Hello?? This is a horrible company A while back I had a card threw them for work an stuff well someone stole it used my card and stuff so I called an made a claim for a service they offer cause my card was stolen an they used 400 bucks well they sent me a check for it eventually then canceled my account and said I am no longer eligible for an account with them well year or to later I buy an7 eleven card not realizing it’s a net spend card go to active it an they tell me I can’t we’ll I just bought the card and loaded money on it for... read more

Wish I could give a ZERO rating! I received this card as a gift in September 2019. I have YET to be able to use it. I have CALLED and CALLED, selecting from the MANY automated voice options TRYING to reach a LIVE being. It took me at least ten tries to finally get to a customer rep. High way Robbery. Takes my money and tells me I have to wait seven to ten business days to get it back in Check. They are very Misleading to their customers.

We received this card for my daughter for Christmas. They asked for her SS# to verify hey identify. We went through the whole thing and then they days send a copy of her ID and her SS card to verify hey identify. No way! I would never do that! Ever. So now we are out all the money in the card. Never purchase these!

IF YOUR READING THIS COMPLAINT DO NOT USE NETSPEND PREPAID CARDS THEY WILL STEAL YOUR MONEY ITS X MAS AND I HAVE NO ACCESS TO FUNDS DONT EVER BUY NETSPEND PREPAID CARDS UNLESS YOU WANT THEM TO TAKE ALL OF YOUR FUNDS
