Our stay at Ness Walk was pleasant enough, but left us with a bit of a sour feeling like we had been severely overcharged for our stay. I’ve stayed at many hotels claiming to be five star by various governing bodies in hospitality, and while they did take our bags, and the lead concierge /welcome team at the desk was pleasant (one team member even helped me print something), very little else about the hotel was a 5 star experience. Sehr schönes Hotel, tolle Zimmer, Preis-Leistung sehr gut, Personal an der Rezeption sehr aufmerksam und freundlich. personal im Restaurant ist auch freundlich benötigt aber noch Training. Am ersten Abend haben wir einen Platz im Restaurant reserviert. Mein Partner konnte nicht das normale Menu bestellen da es immer 2 Personen benötigt. Jedoch waren alle Gönge des Menus auch auf der Karte als normale Teller zu bestellen. Excellent small hotel in Edinburgh. Picturesque riverside location is perfect - away from crowds and noise but close enough to walk to everything. Service is absolutely top notch and beds are divine. Breakfast is one of the best we had in the area.
