Bottom line: I believe this doctor is all about the money - which is exactly what several other raters on this site have stated. Aggessively pushes costly orthotics and any other devices that can generate income. Patients are viewed solely as cash cows. Not interested in truly resolving patients' problems. His only concern appears to be revenue: in and out with extraordinary speed, followed by a whopper of a bill (much of it not covered by insurance). I had bunion surgery plus hammer toes and toes that overlapped on both my left foot and my right foot. Dr. Mozen did the surgery expertly. He answered all my questions. He kept an eye on it that it was healing correctly. He was also highly recommended by dental receptionist that said after 40+ surgeries, it was one of her most successful ones. The staff is the greatest.
Dr. Mozen and his staff are very professional and helpful. They fully explained procedure for bunion echtomy and took great care of me. I have recommended Dr. Mozen to several friends. Great individual as well as the assistants in his office.
Dr. Mozen was fast, funny, professional and meticulous in explaining and conducting the procedure to treat an ingrown toenail. His staff rocks! Very friendly and made an effort to put me at ease. Aftercare instructions were explained clearly--I'm so glad I had this done! I would feel confident sending my mom to him.
This is my second surgery from Dr. Mozen. I had bunion surgery over 10 yrs ago on my right foot and went back to have it done on my left foot since he did such on awesome job the first time. I was not disappointed this time either. He is very nice and the staff is great as well. I will defiantly go back for any future foot issues that I may have.
He was very nice before my surgery but after, eh. His post op care is terrible. He takes the x-ray, looks at it, says it looks great and thats that. Apparently doesn't matter that I have questions. He's practically halfway out the door while I'm asking him questions regarding post-op care. Thanks to google I know how to take care of myself because he surely doesn't know what to tell me. I was in a lot of pain when i went to the foot doctor and was able to get in the same week i called for an appointment. The office staff was very professional, knowledable and friendly. I had to get a series of cortizone shots and the doctor did a great job with the shot as i was very nervous about it.
So good I sent my MOM for bunion surgery also. We are both great! ALL staff & Dr. are caring & nice!
