Apparently I'm now banned from NavyFCU, How would i go about getting my account reinstated? I hit some hard times and my account was closed because i owed to much money. I have since paid off and or settled everything. Well now im being told that since NavyFCU took a loss. That I can NEVER get another account with them. When you get behind on your credit card and send in a small payment they process it immediately, throw you into collections, and still charge delinquent fees but when you pay off the full balance they hold the money for days not looking at the date of the payment but will hold it until the due date to hit you with another late fee then lie to you stating that they are waiting for the payment to clear! Very disappointed with NFCU's lack of customer service responsivenss. They now appear to be too big to provide the personal level of customer service they used to provide. I've been a member for over 40 years - never this upset with them for ignoring my inquiries.
My overall rating for my experience if Navy Federal Credit Union is a 3 out of 10 (on a scale of 1 to 10 with 10 being the best). The experience started off great, which is why the score is not lower, and ended horribly. Initially I was going to suggest my family to use Navy, but now I don’t think I can recommend Navy any more as I am that frustrated, disappoint, and unsatisfied with how the process was. The mobile app never will let us deposit any check. After it is pending for most the day we get a email saying ist was declined. So now I will only cash check with usaa. cashing the check at the conyers office was not any better. They took the check with out letting me know we're my money was deposited and when it would be available because the agent was to busy talking to the agent next to him. I will not be using navy fed any more. Going back to usaa
The bank is awful. They are completely negligent. I applied over the phone and I later found out that the representative misspelled my email address and failed to tell me I needed to submit documentation. Then they said they couldn't correct my incorrect email address until I was approved. So they had a bad email address on file which could not be changed! From start to finish I have been having the worst home buying experience EVER and it was my first time buying a home. The loan processors have been inconsistent in communicating information and documents that was needed. Navy Federal has completely changed since I first opened an account with them. I made a deposit and waited for it to clear and in my account it showed the checked cleared and I got two different emails stating it had. Even accepted and deposited. So I schedule my credit card payment. During the weekend I couldn't use my card I wasn't able to log into my account.
