Extremely inconsiderate, stated my phone number incorrect i reached out few times provided my number again. Never return calls. Was advised by representative they receive tons of applications I wasn't. Waited 20/30 minutes for supervisor and never picked up hung up on me.
Someone stole my card and was using it, then after filing claims with this institution they said I was being held liable for the purchases. Never doing business with them again as they do not hold up standards for their costumers of over 10 years.
We filed bankruptcy this year, putting all our debts on our petition, to include Navy Federal Credit Union. They garnished my account, taking my Social security check. Bad Bank
Was told that Title of my vehicle would be sent after Casher's Check was deposited. Called and made sure this was the case multiple times before I sold my vehicle. Once check cleared was told Casher's Checks are not guaranteed money and that title would be delayed ten days. I will be banking else where.
If i could give Zero Stars i gladly would. I was told Navy Federal is a good banking institution, i need to find that person that told me that, and give them piece of my mind. I had this disgusting banking institution for about 8 to 10 months. I was just denied a personal loan, where my collator is more than the loan amount. They ran my Equifax for my credit and the ONLY open account on my Equifax is my current loan of under $300. I have been taking loans from them and paying them off early for 2 years. At the time of filling this I don't even need to make another payment for 75 days, as I pay more per month than my min balance. I left my big bank to come to NFCU and I'm sad to say that I should have stayed with the big crooks. I am appalled that NFCU would use my overdraft protection on a check because the money wasn't there at 7pm EST but was there at 10:23pm EST before midnight processing. This is sad and crooked and I am so upset by this. I applied for membership on May 17th by sending in my documents online to the web address. At the time of trying to enroll I was trying to use the Navy League. When I called to check the status the next day I was told that they were no longer taking application as a form of eligibility to join the back as of May 12th. I was then asked if I had any family members in the military, which I did by it was my nephew so they said if my brother joined I could use him to join because it would have to be immediate family.
