Lovely little place. We went in October and not to busy at all. Easy one to manage if have kids that get bored quickly as house manageable within their attention span.
A good place to visit
A fantastic visit with the family. Great to see so many options to see and do for all ages. Brilliant selection in the cafe. Absolutely beautifully kept and the house is unbelievable! Staff were very friendly and helpful in guiding around the grounds.
If you are a member of the National Trust and are in the area with a couple hours to spare then this might be for you. Accessibility is mostly good, although there are a couple of steps, these are optional. The cafe is a good size with both indoor and outdoor seating. The garden is fairly small, so unless there is something specific on (I came during Halloween so there were extra kids activities) you would be pushed to fill more than a couple hours.
