A relatively small but very interesting farmhouse. Preserved with lots of furniture, clothing and artefacts from the house’s history. It is very dark inside and you are handed small (battery powered) candles to help you explore. This adds to the charming feel. There is no gift shop here or cafe. They do have a stamp for the National Trust passport and a pin-badge but no magnet. The house is intricately carved by the orig... read more
