Such a great day, (7/8/25) the staff were all really engaging especially with the children, remembering their names as we moved around the site and offering to take a family photo (very appreciated as a single mum) lots to see and do, the stories in the yard in costume were a favourite and really well maintained space. 10 year old daughter says it's her favourite national trust so far. See you again next month!
Excellent day out, wonderful place, full of history. Unlike the dickension idea of workhouses this was a total eye opener
