We just moved into our first new home. It is suppose to be an exciting time for my family. Very unfortunate for us, National Grid left a pregnant wife, daughter and an extremely upset husband without power for the weekend. They said it isn't an emergency. I beg to differ. With temps in the 30's at night, I guess you could say their motto "Here with you, here for you" is a line of crap. Way to start a new relationship. You tell me 8a-4p that you will be here to turn my service on. When I call you pretty much tell me that they will get here when they get here. Never mind I have been waiting all day with a toddler. With no electricity or gas. I move in at 7a tomorrow and if I miss the call...it is too bad for me. Hope you know its illegal to leave me in the dark with a small child. You are atrocious. Poor customer service.
shitty service, rude people, slow response. and obviously as with all power companies overpriced extortion of vital service you all suck not to mention they still cant take a debit card? is this 1980?
Thanks national grid for ruining my day and not being able to turn my power on until Tuesday. Absolutely ridiculous considering you shouldn't have shut it off without asking the landlord in the first place. All moved in, no hot water, no lights. You guys are just so awesome (sarcasm).
National Greed!!! This company is scamming money from millions of people . Must make these men and women proud that they get over paid and do absolutely nothing . There is a place in hell for all of them .
We have a business and we have been waiting over a month to get service to our business and we are losing money every day and they are not answering phones. We call them every day. I say since we are losing business than we should be getting free power for at least a year. We also have talked to other people and they are still waiting for them as well.
Love working with National Grid. Ashley couldn't have been nicer or more helpful. It's nice to be reminded that big corporations are populated with good people doing good work;-)
