Unbelievable!! – This is by far the best restaurant in Pittsburgh!! I have been attending Nakama for about 2+ years now and just love it. With a hip atmosphere, amazing food and a awesome staff this place is great!! Nakama also has a friendly valet service; which on Carson St. is a must. Great service! – My friends took me there for my 45th birthday. The food was excellent! I had twin lobster tails and they were cooked to perfection. They even allowed us to bring in the birthday cake my friends ordered me from New York. They cut it and served it for us. I was having such a great night I left without my digital camera. Must Try Sushi – I was never a big fan of sushi--I just didnt realize what all the fuss was about until I tried Nakama's. They have a very extensive sushi menu-from the old faves like the Boston Roll to platters like the Nakama Boat, their sushi is always fresh and delicious. I can't wait to go back!!
best hibatchi grill in pittsburgh! – Nakama is a great place to go for dinner or even lunch. They have a lunch menu which is a scaled down version of their dinner menu at a very reasonable price. Great food, atmosphere, and drinks – I've only been once, but the food was very good. If you enjoy Hibachi Steakhouses, the atmosphere could not be better. It was loud and exciting, and you will enjoy it with an entire dinner party or just a date. The selection of Japanese beers was also appealing to me. I will definitely go back again.
Great food, drinks, fun – Nine of us spent an evening around the grill. The coconut shrimp and scallops were wonderful. We ordered some unique drinks, had a great time. This is a great place for a group of people to eat, celebrate and enjoy the atmosphere.
Yummy! – Great sushi, great crowd, get there early as you can for happy hour, it gets crowded!!! Excellent appetizers and great enviroment! Feels like you are in a bigger city than Pittsburgh!
Great atmosphere – The atmosphere is very intimate but also is very welcoming to a group of friends. The dim lighting, personal chef and large amounts of delicious food encourage customers to come back for more. Make sure you make a reservation, because even though this place is well worth the wait, the excitement Nakama brings may make it hard to stand!
