Best Japanese & Sushi Restaurant – I've been to Nakama Japanese Restaurant on half-dozen occasions. I've always found the service & quality of food to be excellent, as well as a great ambience. I recommend it for drinks, dinner or sushi. I will definitely be back !
best sushi in pittsburgh – the sushi bar has the freshest fish in town, served beautiful by your sushi chef. sushi appears like a piece of art, and melts in your mouth. nothing better!
Fantastic Experience – I love this restaurant!! Nakama has the best food in the entire city, hands down, and it's such a fun place to go, whether you're with a small or large group of friends. The chef's are always friendly and really add to the whole experience. I highly recommend Nakama to everyone that asks me about places to eat in Pittsburgh, it's amazing!!!
Great food and fun! – The atmosphere is exciting and there is always a chance to meet new people. The food is delicious and the menu is very extensive. The service we have had has been very good and I wouldn't hesitate to go back again.
Unique Experience With Great Food! – For the past two years I've been treated to Nakama as a b-day surprise. We normally have a group of 20 people and Nakama is a great place for larger groups. I'm not much of a sushi eater, but the rest of their menu is superb. I ALWAYS get an order of the fried rice to go although I leave with left overs and a full stomach! I highly recommend Nakama for everyday eating or for special occasions!
Great Food...Very Noisy!! – This isn't the place to go for peace but if it is great food and alot of fun you are looking for, this is it!! Our mom's group met there for dinner. The cooks were great fun and the food was wonderful...just a bit hard to have a conversation with anyone but those seated right next to you.
Fun, entertaining atmosphere with pleasant service! – I took a friend here for her 27th birthday celebration. I called ahead for reservations and asked that the special "birthday" dessert, along with singing and gong playing, to make the evening special. The service was exceptional and the food was delicious. Our waiter was polite and pleasant despite the growing dinner crowd. Check it out! It's an experience you won't forget.
Best Dining in Pittsburgh – I have always enjoyed hibatchi dining and then I went to Nakama and realize all that I had been missing. Wow! What a fantastic time. The best of everything – I have eaten here multiple times. Everytime is excellent. From just having a couple of cocktails to having the whole hibachi experience. I have yet to eat my whole dinner. The food is plentiful and the service is excellent.
