Trendy Hot Spot – Great drinks and good food. . . Great location and a fun atmosphere. I just wish the bar area wasn't so smokey.
Great Food and Sushi – I eat at Nakama about twice a month and I love it. Sushi is excellent and the hibachi grill is the best in town. Ive tried them all so I know.
Awesome food all around – If you have not been to Nakama yet you need to!! They have the best japense food that I have ever had. The sushi bar is also really good. I go to Nakama atlest once a week for the sushi bar. The habachi is also excellent! The service is great and so is the food.
The atmosphere for Hibachi is great! – I went to Nakama for the first time last week. I've been to other Hibachi restaurants before, but what distinguishes this one from all others is the atmosphere. It was great being able to be right in the middle of all the grills. The food was excellent, and wow, what great portions. You definitely get enough to eat. It has become my new favorite place for Japanese. Well done Nakama!
Best of Everything! – All I can say is that I love Nakama! I went to another Hibachi style restaurant on Friday and it was a mistake! The food and service were no comparison. Everything about the Nakama is great, especially the Nakama Cosmo. I promise I will never cheat on the Nakama with another place again.
Best sushi and fun dinner! – I love Nakama, not only do they have great sushi but they also have great hibatchi and the bar is great for having a fun night out. I would pick Nakama over any other sushi bar in town!
Great sushi – I never really enjoyed sushi until a friend took me to Nakama for dinner....it was better than i had expected and the service was terrific too!...Its fun to sit at the bar and have a few drinks with the super variety of sushi...its a great weekly stop!
Great food and great atmosphere! – I have been to Nakama a few times since it opened, and plan to frequent there a lot more now that I moved to the South Side! The food is great (love the filet and chicken combo)! The atmosphere is fun and our cook was very entertaining. I would highly recommend this restaurant!
great lunch value – My co-workers and I are always looking for a fun lunch spot on the Southside but found some of the better restaurants a little expensive for lunch. Look no further than Nakama. The food is excellent and the portions relatively generous for a Japanese restaurant. You can have lunch for less than $10.00 including an appetizer and there is lots to chose from besides sushi.
