Best Japanese in Pittsburgh!!!! – Great place for family friends and children!!! The food is hish-quality and the atmosphere is great!!!
Best Sushi – My wife and I have enjoyed many dining experiences at Nakama. The menu is varied enough to cover the tastes of my entiree family while the Sushi, being the best I have had, has made converts out of both my wife and daughter. The service and staff are always timely and pleasant.
Great place to bring out-of-towners – I have been to Nakama twice in about a month and a half. The first time I brought someone from out of town. They wanted to eat somewhere that was a little different and fun. I had heard good things about Nakama and had been there for drinks, so I dicided to take a chance. I am so glad I did. Beni-what??? NAKAMA HAS NO COMPETITON! – I've tried all of the hibachi's out there. No one comes close to Nakama. From the trendy atmosphere, to the top notch chef's, this restaurant has it all. My only complaint is they give you too much food for dinner. Lunch is severely less expensive and still more than you can eat. I try to make it there once a week, and will continue to do so as long as I can afford $8 for the best lunch in Pittsburgh.
Great drinks, cool bar and appetizing food! – Nakama is the place to be... Cool decor, tasty drinks and a long list of appetizers if you just want to hang at the bar. Delcious dinners in the diningroom. One of the best places to go in Pittsburgh for sure.
Great Sushi bar and cocktails – I would highly recomend this modern and confortable restaurant-bar. The sushi bar its really great. Good quality! The bar is also pretty nice to have a good cocktail and enjoy some music. And the restaurant, well, thats the best thing of the whole place for me. Veeeery good scallops, you should try them!
Great food, great environment – For some wonderful food in a wonderful environment, visit Nakama on the South Side. They provide excellent service and have one of the best happy hours in town! They also have some great weekly specials to enjoy. You definitely get what you pay for.
Fresh Sushi, Innovative Drinks, Posh Atmosphere – Every since it opened I have been happy with Nakamas amazing martinis(try their Pumpkin Spice one in fall! Yummy), fresh and tasty sushi(best Spicy Tuna Roll in the city) and hopping atmosphere. I think the quality is exceptional, here, eating raw fish is a joy-you know you are safe! thank you Nakama! Only recommendation-hostesses smile a bit! Your job can't be that bad!
Nakama Japanese Steakhouse – Awesome! Four of us went to Nakama 2 weeks ago to celebrate a birthday. Very entertaining evening and nice to surprise the birthday guy with a desert and singing. The food at Nakama is amazing and you definately get what you pay for - from filet, veggies to sushi etc! We are looking forward to going back again soon and plan on taking our parents for their anniversary.
