What a relief to find our way here after being out and about in the area and finding many other establishments in Usk not serving dinner on Bank Holiday Sunday - a friendly and helpful welcome with good food at reasonable prices. I had rabbit pie for £16 ‐ a good portion size with choice of potatoes, and veg or salad. 2 of my companions with smaller appetites had starters only (smoked salmon, and the goats cheese - plus a share of other's mains) and were pleased with both taste and amount of food. We often visit Usk but rarely stay for a meal. We chose the Nags Head because it had a large selection of vegetarian options, so much so my wife found it difficult to choose (most places we visit its limited to 1 or 2 dishes). Food was fabulous, home cooked, generous portions and great value. Bottle of wine wasn't over priced either. The owners were friendly and the staff courteous. We will definitely return.
