Like others, I fell for the trial. Ended up being charged monthly for a "background other people" service as well as keeping my own information under control, neither of which I actually approved. I never received statements or receipts for these charges and only caught them when I looked at my bank statements. They are not clear on what you'll be charged for, as evidenced by the fact that they have been hit with multiple lawsuits in the last several years for this very thing. Fortunately I called them, spoke to a rep named... read more
This company is sending mass emails stating that a "judgment" or negative items exists on my records, and on the records of some of my neighbors. I assume neighbors are getting emails about a "judgment" or negative items about me. I consider this harassment and a potential to cause unwarranted harm to me and my professional reputation. This is defamation of character. This is unethical at best, and should not be legal. I cannot easily stop them from sending emails to others that potentially adversely affect me. This must sto... read more
This site should be removed and shut down. Private and personal information is contained on this site and it should be controlled by me not this company. Any data sources that this company uses should be disclosed so I can request my information be removed. This company engages in reputation scoring a known CCP and Marxist tactic/ploy, which is wholly un-American.
I paid 1.00 then charged another 1.00 +19.95 then today they tried to charge me 4 other times in the amount of 47.85 down to 11.97!! All today! Thanks to Cash app Card "mylife" got NoNe.
Tried the service for a $1.00 trial for three days. I didn't like the results and cancelled the same day. 4 days later, I was charged $44.85 for additional services which I clearly didn't sign up for since I cancelled all services. Chase Bank flagged the transaction as fraudulent and sent me an alert (thank you Chase). I guess they have tried this before to be automatically flagged even after I had charged $1.00 to the same card. Horrible business practices and glad to see the Feds have already suesd them over the summer.
Three day trial is a scam because when calling the 888 number they hang up on you. I've tried 4 calls to which I am on hold for approx 10 minutes then disconnected.
This company is absolutely terrible! I paid for a $1 trial and then contacted them the next day and each addition day via email to cancel my subscription. Every time I contacted them, they claimed they couldn't find my account. They charged my credit card without authorization. I called the customer service rep who claimed I didn't cancel on time when I have three different emails confirming that I didn't authorize them to charge me. I'm going to have to file a charge back on my credit card and also block them from further c... read more
I launched MyLife.com to acquire the advertised background and personal information. I went through their entire process to the point of purchasing a subscription. I entered my credit card information and got a reply that my card was invalid. Then I got an email alert that my credit card had been used. The eMail stated a charge of $167.40 by Mylife.com. I tried to login regardless of the message and got a reply that my login did not exist. I called customer service tech support who asked for my name and card expiration. The ... read more
Mylife has put false accusations of me having arrests, records and reputation scores, which are not true. I have never had any arrests etc., not even a drivin ticket. They try to get you to pay to have information removed which I won't do. I feel this is defamation of character of people including myself. MyLife.com has posted negative ratings and fraudulent information under my name. They also have exposed some of my personal information to anyone that goes on the site, which places me and my family in harm's way. They shou... read more
