Very unprofessional employees in the office I visited. I liked the doc, but the ladies I worked with to order my contacts after my exam were rude. One of the employees said “Holy F***” in the course of my visit in response to a situation regarding my visit last year. The whole experience left a bad taste in my mouth and I will not be visiting there again.
I had an appointment at the Winston-Salem NC location on December 6 2019. I had a 3:00 pm appointment and was there for almost two hours. I did not want my eyes dilated so I paid a $39 fee to do another type of exam. I order glasses and I am tell waiting for them. I have never had to wait more than a week for glasses. The price they charge my insurance was ridiculous over $600, granted I got bifocals but still.
They never answer their phone. They are unhelpful and unorganized. Save your money and time, go elsewhere.

I went to the location in Williamsburg VA on Monticello. After being refusedhelp from two MyEyeDr locations (the one in Hampton and the one in Newport News) I drove all of the way to Williamsburg, pretty much in tears because my glasses were broken. The people in that location were nice, and the manager took care of my frames, and then recommended since I had some minor scratches on my lenses, to use the warranty on my lenses and get them replaced too. Had a great experience with Dr Kaplan and the team at the office in Mtn Brook, Ala. Was so thankful for the specialist who helped me decide on frames. Everything moved smoothly. My frames came in quickly and I'll definitely be back!
