RecommendedDr. ortiz has been amazing, and the entire staff at munhall veterinary. Our dog paco has recently been diagnosed with difficult to manage diabetes. He is always looked after very well through his tests, and we always get a call to check up on paco to see how he is doing! we really appreciate the help in getting to the bottom of pacos issues:)
Losing a pet is never easy but Dr. Koch and the staff at Munhall Veterinary Hospital have been amazing through the whole process. We have been taking our dogs there for years and will continue to, their compassion for animals is amazing. It has been a tough experience but they have made it as easy as it can be for us. We truly appreciate everything you have done for our family.

Our pitbull Zoey was diagnosed with pyrometra a couple weeks ago. We took her to ER vet and told if we couldn't pay their amount for surgery she probably wouldn't make it through night. Devastated, I called around and they were able to schedule her surgery immediately even with this being her first visit. Dr. Ortiz was amazing...we weren't sure if Zoey would recover after 3 days of not improving much but he let us take her home to try to nurse her back to health which she is now better than ever! Dr. Ortiz is truly exceptional. Not only is he intelligent, but also kind, caring, patient and understanding. He refers to my dogs as my “babies” and understands that they aren’t just pets, but part of the family. He was so patient and understanding with me when explaining everything and took his time to go into full detail about my options when my dog was diagnosed with terminal cancer. I would like to thank Dr. Ortiz and all of the wonderful staff who helped us with a tiny abandoned kitten that I found in my yard this morning. You were all so compassionate. My heart was aching and I wished things would have ended different but Crosby is no longer cold, hungry or in pain. God bless all of you.
Would not put my dog down because we needed an appointment. They were booked today, my dog will just have to suffer another day. Ridiculous.
