I would thoroughly recommend consulting Mr James Platt if you ever find yourself needing a hip replacement or hip treatment prior to that. He talked through all my options thoroughly at the first consultation. Given the options and my situation I decided on a total hip replacement. I'm happy to say that from my first consultation with Dr Platt I felt completely at ease. Having listened to the issue I was having with my hip he carefully explained what the cause was and all the different options I had to ease the pain. A total hip replacement was my choice. Mr Platt performed an MUA on my TKR after it was clear I was not responding well towards a normal recovery. He managed to schedule this op at very short notice and revealed that he hoped to be in time to save my knee from a disappointing outcome. I have been totally delighted with his expertise and with my progress so far, along with excellent Nuffield physiotherapy. Definitely exceeded expectations. Thank you so much
