I've heard horror stories before, and I am a true believer in the disgust for Greystar. I rented a unit managed by Greystar, and all was well until COVID and mass layoffs. I fell behind on rent for 2 months but caught up before my lease ended. That same year, they had renewal offers for the same price, which I thought was a good idea. I apologize if your move-out charges were not clearly explained to you. In looking at the file and reviewing your ledger, I see you had a security deposit alternative (Jetty) equating to $500. Upon move-out, there was damage (pet damage primarily) to the unit requiring carpet replacement, drywall repairs, patio blinds and baseboard. Additionally, the final month of utilities, which are billed in arrears, was also owed. Greystar made a claim on Jetty (the deposit alternative) for $500 of damages. Living in the property was fine. Not spectacular, but fine. Now I'm dealing with their corporate office trying to sort out the move out statement they sent 56 days after we moved out of the property. CO law says this needs to be sent within 60 days, so they're off the hook in that regard. However my roommate and I have been calling and emailing them for weeks trying to sort out why we hadn't received a statement. Hands down worst complex in ***** way overpriced. They moved me into a molding apartment. Laundry/dryer/washer always breaking, toilets always flooding, showers always clogging, currently as I type water is coming thru the wall above the window and dripping on me and my bed! Um parking is horrible, management is the most disrespectful and useless group of morons you have ever met. Record every conversation as its legal without their consent in this state! I used to live in a Greystar managed building called *************** in ******, **. They never returned my deposit, took months to get maintenance to fix basic things, administrators are next to impossible to get a hold of, they dont respond to calls or emails in any sort of timely fashion, and they charged me for utilities over a year after I had moved out. I am a former resident of Vaseo apartments. I rented there from 2017-2020. No evictions and no judgments. I moved out due to the pandemic and when I needed to move back to ******* I tried to reapply at vaseo but due them being under new management they said my credit score wasnt good enough so I was denied. Prices are decent but only in this inflationary economy and only if you get get some discount.The leasing office doesn't take appointments and will hang up on you. Everything is electronic which sometimes means you get things fast but other times means you need your LITERAL BUILDING KEY to work (which is a mandatory lease requirement) and they have no solution (outside that you should have the door app).Need a spare key so a friend can check on your cat? This is the worst company you could rent from I’ve been here for a little while an their has not been anything good They charge you for everything possible then not only that they make you pay rent for your dog an you can’t keep it nor let it go on the patio This place is ran down the managers are focused on the wrong things they should worry about the fights car theft an ect..I dnt recommend anyone to move in these high price ghetto apartments

Overture Greenville is like living in a prison and the manager is the warden! She promises things and never follows through. She's a little Hitler! She threatened us with eviction and never said why! We were very active in the community. We did the directory since they wouldn't. We showed 3 movies a week using our apps. We planned many resident led events and started karaoke. My experience with the Westside property has been unsettling since the beginning of the lease. I tried to go talk to management and I was treated with hostility in response as I wanted to resolve my issues and questions. The contact info for the regional manager or someone above was denied and hidden. I went to ask why the gate was not functioning properly, and property maintenance was lacking. as my amenity fees and everyone else have been paid consistently.
