Overall I've enjoyed living here for the last two and a half years. The staff is friendly and usually very helpful. Plus the amenities like the gym and areas for pets are really nice to have. I think the location is pretty, as well :)
I have loved living here at Mountain Valley this year. The community is great, and the staff is always so helpful, friendly and quick to respond!
I lived here for one year and it was the worst apartment complex I've occupied. My washer and dryer didn't work on move in day. I had to get that fixed. My refrigerator had to be fixed. I had a broken towel rack the entire year and my many work orders were ignored. I paid a subleasing fee of $250 but never subleased and was promised a refund check. It's been 3 months and no check. I've called four times and they always promise to send it with no results. Very unprofessional. I'll never live here again.
While this isn’t the worst place to live, it’s definitely not the best. I would NOT recommend living here if you’re an undergraduate student for many reasons that I will list below. Mountain Valley knows how to make money off college kids and they use that to their fullest advantage. I have lived at Mountain Valley for 3+ years now. This place used to be great, but now vandalism has become such an issue. My boyfriend stayed here and woke up to a busted windshield, along with many other cars facing the same problem! Plus, this is at least the 4th time some sort of vandalism has happened. Yet, there are still no security cameras on the property or anyone patrolling late at night. Another thing, no one at the office has any information to tell concerned residents.
