Worst hotel experience ever. Basic amenities such as a microwave not provided. At desk, I was told "no outside food/beverage is allowed, so you shouldn't need one. If you have some other reason, they are $20 per night to rent.".....but they provide a refrigerator? For what? If you have a fridge, you should have a microwave. If you don't need a microwave, why a fridge? Desk person gave the classic line "I don't make the rules." Will NEVER come back. Will be gambling elsewhere in town. I really like the room...I took advantage of the many amenities! Even took a relaxing bath in the huge tub. Only problem we had was hitting our leg on the side of the bed.
I was there with DMC Children's Hospital of MI for my Awards Banquet. Everything was nice from the complimentary valet parking to the lovely meal. I enjoyed my time there!
This is where a free room turned into a nightmare... I am at the hotel now and am about to cry... I figured a romantic night out with the hubby and was give a room with two "double" beds when at check in I was asked if I minded two King beds and I looked at the check in lady strange and said King? and she said yah, and even if she said Queen I would of been fine but 2 double beds? The must have the machines set up for ppl not to win any money cause ever time I go I lose
The room was really nice if you didn't look intensely It was really dusty the top of the bed the corners The bathroom had not been washed recently because when I dropped some toothpaste I washed it up and the cloth came up dirty It was def not a five star It was acceptable
I always have a good time at Motor City... Beautiful hotel rooms.... The staff is polite & professional.... & The Sound Board perfect venue
