Hotel staff extremely pleasant and helpful. Everyone from the Valet to the concierge was great! Loved the lodge Diner downstairs food was so good and you sure got alot for the money. Casino was alittle Smokey for my liking but the atmosphere was upbeat and entertaining.
Not impressed. Too crowded, not to smoky for me but my bf didn't like that. I found out later that there was a no smoking room. Who knew? I only had a $20 to waste to not too broke. Just not as fun as I thought it would be. Much more fun in Jackpot, NV and much more smoky too.
I love the casino. Ate at the assembly line buffet. Not bad food. But when i got the free room stay.....it was ok. Stayed at the hotel 3. 31.17 . The room was beautiful at one time. Love the big dresser and the big tv. But The ceiling in the bathroom is coming apart and looks like some of the ceiling fell in the tub. all the towels smelled like fried foods. Bathtub is pretty but needs some cleaning. All the glasses where dirty and dusty. Was scared to sleep in the bed. Looked like the sheets and the robes need to be bleached... read more
My experience at Motor City Casino hotel is a little disappointing... i walked in the room sat my bag down went to sit in the chair at the desk and found an old nail file in the chair along with nail clippings. I then went towards the refreshment area and the coffee pot is missing but the machine is there. Usually the trash cans have bags and none of them do! When i called to inform the front desk i was told we will note it on your account.... uhhh how about clean my room, bring my coffee pot and some trash bags or just chan... read more
