Such a lovely holiday here
What an amazing hidden treasure this is, location perfect for Fishing on site in a well stocked Lake, beautiful 100° Country views everywhere you look. We had Hawfinch 1 bed ground floor apartment, it had everything you needed and more, well thought out beautifully clean.|Heated indoor swimming pool & Hot Tub. Lovely Restaurant with homecooked reasonable price meals. Very friendly bar with outside seating. The best Apperol Spritz ever, Thank you. This family run and it shows, nothing is too much trouble. Thank you all .
We booked this as a last minute holiday before both going back to work. Staff were friendly, good food in the restaurant and the apartment (Goldfinch!) was fab! We loved the extra amenities such as the pool, jacuzzi, gym, dvds and games room. An added bonus was being able to have the pool, jacuzzi and gym to yourself. Location was out of the way however close to good days out such as the wake park and Clovelly; would highly recommend the hoops inn for food. Liked: Lovely staff, beautiful setting, handy location for travelling around Devon and Cornwall. Nice little bar on site, good space for the children to explore and roam. Excellent range of games and things for the kids to do inside. Pool was clean and well kept. Showers and toilets were immaculate. Good size pitch size too. Disliked: Not a lot!
