I started going to Moorgate Acoustics in 2004 for a few small accessories and finding the staff welcoming with no pressure selling, bought some new speakers and a cd player months later. I then took my Rega turntable in for them to service which they did complementary. Did a great service on my turntable and swerved the chance to charge quite a bit more money. Good people, good work and great place to drop £20,000 on stereo gear

Popped in for advice regarding updating my turntable. I actually saved money, for now, but because they clearly know their stuff, I might end up spending a bit more than I intended to in the knowledge that when I do make my purchase it'll be based on their advice. (Sounds a bit long winded!) My upgrade is on hold for now. UPDATE 27.12.24 Finally started my upgrade today and bought a Rega P3RS turntable. Got a decent trade in for my P1 which helps a lot. All set up and already enjoying at home. Hear the difference already!!
