This was our second visit! It was better than the first time! Had family members with us and they loved it too! The food in snack bar is not only excellent but fairly priced! We loved our day so much

My friend Jean Lueck and I recently toured the home. It was amazing, our tour guide was knowledgeable and pleasant. I absolutely loved it. We only wish the tour would have lasted a little longer. We'll possibly return in spring and tour the beautiful gardens.
Visiting Monticello was an incredible experience. You can totally make it a full day experience or whatever you would like. The tour guides are fabulous full of information as well as the grounds the houses and the gardens. I highly recommend it to anyone of any age.
Of course worth the visit. The visitors center is quite a ways away but near parking and it is AMAZING, and then a quick walk up hill (very pretty) or tram ride and you are there. I felt like they did a good job on tours giving a realistic portrait of him. The cute little shop has water etc and really you can spend the entire day there.
We had a great time. Our tour guide was the best. He was kid friendly. Sorry , I didn't get his name.
Very well preserved piece of history in a pristine environment. Love every inch of the place and enjoyed the tour guides. Walked much of it and didn't wilt. Beautiful place to visit and well worth the fee.

A remarkable man and a remarkable home. The tour guides are great. They present the historical facts and perspective of his ownership of slaves.
