This natural habitat for rescued grizzly bears is one of the best places in Montana to watch these regal creatures. Open to the public since 2004, Montana Grizzly Encounter invites you to watch, learn and interact with the grizzlies in a safe environment. Watch as Brutus, Sheena and Bella, the resident bears, bask in the early morning sun, and later visit the gift shop to buy a few souvenirs to remember these grizzlies by.

What great care the bears receive here and I try to support your sanctuary as often as I can. Visiting here was one of the funnest and best life changing experiences I have ever had. I can't wait to be back soon! Thank you!

We go to MGE about every other year and we love it. The Bears are well cared for and loved. We all wish animals to be wild and free, but there are times where this is impossible. I know for a fact they are loved and cared for by the best.
Was there yesterday (Sunday October 19th) with my wife while on our honeymoon. Saw Brutus and Sheena relaxing in the enclosure. Beautiful animals. It was our first time there and we plan to come back up in the future.
