Open to the public since 2004, Montana Grizzly Encounter invites you to watch, learn and interact with the grizzlies in a safe environment. Watch as Brutus, Sheena and Bella, the resident bears, bask in the early morning sun, and later visit the gift shop to buy a few souvenirs to remember these grizzlies by.

Amazing facility! The animals were all so happy and well cared for, and the owners/guides were incredibly friendly and knowledgable! By far my favorite experience on our trip to Montana!
It is great what these people are doing for these bears!
Excellent facility for the housing and care of these beautiful grizzlies. The education of the public is a valuable service that should be allowed to continue, grow and develop. I would encourage people to support this facility. I would also encourage the local authorities to step back and realize how their punitive zoning enforcement of an legally permitted business would affect the community if this business was not allowed to continue. This is a great place to visit. The bears are awesome and Bill provides a great overview of these amazing animals.
This was my second visit and I plan to return again next year. The younger bears are very active and Brutus is very patient with them. I can spend hours here.
We absolutely enjoyed this adventure. We had to wait a while till the Bears appeared but well worth it. The handler was so thorough in his knowledge. Very impressed! The Bears were truly amazing and quite comical to watch. We didn't know what to expect when we saw the signs on the Interstate I-94 but decided to stop. So glad we did! I now have more respect and understanding of these beautiful animals and their need of protection from man's encroachment on their territory. It is a pretty descent place. I loved seeing the bears and the other animals that where there to. Its not just bears somedays.
