Open to the public since 2004, Montana Grizzly Encounter invites you to watch, learn and interact with the grizzlies in a safe environment. Watch as Brutus, Sheena and Bella, the resident bears, bask in the early morning sun, and later visit the gift shop to buy a few souvenirs to remember these grizzlies by.

Truly one of the best experiences I've had. I learned a lot and was really amazed at the love these people have for their bears. I can't wait to visit again. If you're ever in this area, it's a must see. You won't regret it.

Was very educational and amazing experience to learn about black and brown bears! My family and I had a different expectation and this clearly changed our minds! Very beautiful and smart animals! Came out on a rainy cold day. Everyone had left the enclosure but my wife and I. Rebecca stayed out there with us and toughed it out teaching us about the Bears. A special thanks to her and Grizzly Encounter. We visited Bear World in Idaho and Grizzly and wolf discovery center but none of them were as special as Grizzly Encounter for me. Maybe because I've seen every episode of Expedition Wild and have seen Brutus grow. Thank you again for our experience and being so welcoming! From Austin Tx - Shawn.

The whole family loved it just wish we could've seen all the Bears
My family and I visited Montana Grizzly Encounter today. We loved it! It was so educational for us. We learned about bear safety and conservation. We enjoyed watching Bella and Brutus, and we returned later in the day to see Maggi and Jake. I didn't know what to expect, but this is truly a place that is completely dedicated to making the lives of these bears wonderful, as they cannot survive in the wild. I stopped here August 2016 on my way home to Florida. This is an amazing place for Grizzly's that are orphaned. They pair them up with other grizzly's that they get along with. They take very good care of them. I thought it was gonna be a road side attraction with bad conditions. I was so wrong and surprised at how nice it was. How much they care for the bears, an how knowledgeable the staff was. I will be back next time I'm in the area. Absolutely loved it.
Great, safe way to see grizzly bears up close and personal. Staff is very knowledgeable of all bears and discount many of myths about grizzlies. I visit every time I'm in the area
