This natural habitat for rescued grizzly bears is one of the best places in Montana to watch these regal creatures. Open to the public since 2004, Montana Grizzly Encounter invites you to watch, learn and interact with the grizzlies in a safe environment. Watch as Brutus, Sheena and Bella, the resident bears, bask in the early morning sun, and later visit the gift shop to buy a few souvenirs to remember these grizzlies by.

So pleased we had the chance to stop. Fabulous experience to see a couple of Grizzly Bears close up. Loved watching Bella play whilst being educated about bears. Thank you for all you do for them.
Was expecting to see bears, ended up with a fascinating and entertaining educational experience well worth the price of admission. Will definitely visit again and appreciate what Montana Grizzly encounter is doing for bear conservation and safety!
A great educational facility with knowledgable staff. We saw Jake and Maggie, then Brutus and Bella. Staff talked about bear safety- a great topic to cover so close to Yellowstone and Glacier. Lots of good information on signs as well. Bears have a nice enclosure with lots of enrichment going on. NOT a tourist trap.
