My 2-month-old daughter recently spent a week and a half in the PICU at Vanderbilt with RSV. The care she received while she was there was amazing! You could tell that most of the nurses and doctors there love what they do and are so dedicated (at least two of our nurses walked a mile to work in the snow and ice)! Thank you to everyone there who helped my baby get better! "I thank my God upon every remembrance of you" Philippians 1:3.

This hospital is excellent, the doctors and nurses are awesome at what they do. My son was 27 weeks 5 days when he was born. If it hadn't been for the team of doctors I have I don't think he would have made it anywhere else where I live. I highly suggest this hospital to anyone whose high risk pregnancy, children who require extra medical attention. They'll get into detail and get down to the source of the problem and go above and beyond to do everything possible.

My twin boys were born February 2nd and had a little bit of trouble breathing at first so they had to go to vandys nicu the nurse's were awsome the doctors were as well I had really good experience with everybody I came into contact with this is an excellent hospital and if I ever had to choose another hospital for my kids again this would be the one I give it a ten star rating

My 6yr old son has a colonoscopy scheduled for 530am. He has to fast and drink all the crap you have to drink, etc. We both take off work. We drive 3 hours. We get a hotel room the night before. Get up at 4am to get ready. Get to the hospital early and wait. People show up for check in. They say he's not in the system. We wait. The charge nurse comes in and says that it is scheduled for the next week. We have our paperwork, and my wife called yesterday. This is crap.

My twins were born at 29 weeks gestation and spent 10 weeks in the NICU. My husband and I were so pleased with the care they received. We are big fans.

The staff was great with my baby!! When she was 6 weeks old she had a bad uti due to bladder reflux. We were transported by ambulance and when we got their 10 doctors and nurses met us at the door. They were great with her. Her urologist Dr. Brock is AMAZING!! she has been well taking care of as she is almost a year old and doing great with her bladder reflux!!! We are blessed to have such a wonderful children's hospital only 50 miles away!!

My daughter had cystic fibrosis so she pretty much grew up in this hospital. The docs, nurses and rts and other staff are family and always will be. Marisa got a call for a transplant on July 28th, 2015 in Pittsburgh. She sadly passed on September 25th from complications from the transplant. I love this hospital and most of the people that work there. Lol. I will still continue to go there to visit my life long cf mom friends. They are my family too. They have helped me get through some of the rough times. Love them so much!... read more

Monroe Carell Jr. Hospital at Vanderbilt saved our grandson, Tucker's life 10 years ago. We are so grateful! Our grandchildren love the people at the after hours clinic...they are so great with kids!
