Not a great hospital with a child with Special Needs. Pretty sad when they tell you he will not make it out of here alive and now he is over 3 yrs old. Great hospital that acts like they are god.
Not so happy with the night shift ER nurse cause they didnt keep us well informed about what was going on but by the time 7 am rolled around our nurse Nicole an Garrett kept us well informed an up to date we knew what was happening next an what was going on to the point they told us it might be a while to see the doc cause he had to go to a code which I understand that they answered all our question an concerns and even when I asked to do more they did to make me an my husband feel better I just want to say thank you to the ... read more
My daughter was admitted to EMU last week and I couldn't thank all the staff including volunteers any more! They have been so amazing to me and my daughter!!!! You guys are amazing!
Had the best experience there while dealing with a heart defect in my newborn daughter. They took great are of her and me. She's all fixed up due to the great doctors and nurses at Vanderbilt! Thanks so much!
My granddaughter Lilly Ann-Marie Paugh was born and passed here of Hypoplastic Left Heart Syndrome. The compassion and care she and as a family we received were phenomenal. The West Ky Shriners made a donation in her memory. I would like to see more rooms available for families who have to stay with children. They need to be able to sleep and shower to keep up their strength and there really aren't enough of these rooms available. But l would definitely take any child of mine to be cared for here.
It is amazing, at least the NICU is. My daughter was born at 28 weeks and was there for 92 days. Everyone was amazing and always willing to answer questions. My daughter was admitted to the 7th floor for one night and my husband stayed with her and he said the day nurse just seemed to busy or didn't care but the night nurse was amazing.
Annie was treated wonderful ! We where as well !! They have done a terrific job making my baby better !!! God Bless each and everyone here!!!!

They're the best hospital and my daughters surgeon is wonderful;she suffers from choanal atresia and she still goes every so many months and we are truly blessed they sent her there
