They are amazing at taking care of their patients..my daughter has been a patient for going on 5 years..nothing but excellent care.
Our experience in the ER this week was amazing!! From the front desk, as we entered, all the way to saying goodbye to the amazing team who cared for my 20 month old daughter. Every person we encountered had a smile on their face and so patient as they cared for my daughter. As a worried mother of a child who was not breathing well, I immediately became calm when getting into our room in the ER. We were so blessed to have been at Vandy Monroe's Children Hospital ER!!!!
Our daughter was born with what is called an AVnode in her heart in 2011. Now we did not know this until July of 2017 when they where finally able to diagnose her here in Knoxville Tn.From the moment it was a race and what to do and when to do it. Our first child, our precious daughter, Grace Amanda, was born in 2004 under traumatic circumstances at another hospital in KY. She began having seizures 3 days after birth and the medical team were ill equipped to give her the best care. Under the guidance of several brilliant and amazing people, we called Vanderbilt for help. Great place, great people and great care! Wouldn’t want to be anywhere else with our daughter.
My son has been sick for 11 days, they admitted him for his illness tgat they didn't know what it was! Then my husband and I told the Dr we weren't comfortable taking him home due to his unknown in less and dehydration. They forced us to take him home! They told us things about discoloration in his face that made no sense. Like he's allergic to the sheets, if that were so, he'd have a rash and it would everywhere not just discolored cheeks.
