Our family has welcomed friends and guests since 1975, earning us the title “A Tradition in Traverse City”. Great steaks, fresh seafood and meaty BBQ ribs are skillfully prepared. Our homemade sauces and dressings are a blend of the finest herbs and the best ingredients to compliment every meal. We have won many awards over the years for our steaks and prime rib; Detroit News has voted us best restaurant in Michigan.

Best Food & Service in Traverse City. Prime Rib & Lobster Tail Very Good �
Omg! It was delicious! It exceeded our expectations! The Brie and chutney were good. The salad wedge with bleu cheese was mouth watering! I had the lobster and filet, I was doing my happy dance I my chair! We highly recommend it!
Unfortunately I will never be back. I don't like to complain. To be upfront and honest the steak was good. The rice pilaf was really good. The cottage cheese I had had hard pieces of cottage cheese in it. I let it go cuz I really don't like to complain. The lobster was not fully cooked unfortunately I had to send that back for more cooking. It came back in just a couple minutes completely cooked. Yes they microwaved it.. We SOOO wanted to love this place! It was our first visit. There were lots of "regulars" at the bar & waitresses were quite attentive to them. We both ordered the garlic peppercorn steak with wedge salad & baked potato. The salads were swimming in dressing (although the lettuce was cold & crisp!). My potato had one end (probably an eighth of the potato) that was black & rotten. We had to scrape the peppercorns off the steaks because that's all you could taste! It's a "must visit" every time in TC!!!! Can't go wrong with the shrimp de'jonge!! The scallops are to die for!!!!!
My husband and I had not been there in years. Mainly because of the price, we splurged last night and revisited and were not disappointed. Good food and good service!
Always a great place to eat, great Perch or Prime Rib, great drinks ! Service excellent !
