Our family has welcomed friends and guests since 1975, earning us the title “A Tradition in Traverse City”. Great steaks, fresh seafood and meaty BBQ ribs are skillfully prepared. Our homemade sauces and dressings are a blend of the finest herbs and the best ingredients to compliment every meal. We have won many awards over the years for our steaks and prime rib; Detroit News has voted us best restaurant in Michigan.

Mode's Bum Steer, Downtown Traverse City, was great!!! I had the 16 ounce Prime Rib. It was excellent!!!

Great food with a groovy vibe to the joint. I had the ribeye which was perfect. Iceberg salad wedge! Fantastic service too. Definitely the place to go if you like a laid back, vintage atmosphere.
