Our family has welcomed friends and guests since 1975, earning us the title “A Tradition in Traverse City”. Great steaks, fresh seafood and meaty BBQ ribs are skillfully prepared. Our homemade sauces and dressings are a blend of the finest herbs and the best ingredients to compliment every meal. We have won many awards over the years for our steaks and prime rib; Detroit News has voted us best restaurant in Michigan.

Had a very snarky server who seemed indifferent to our party. Took us nearly 1 1/2 to get our food. Told it was my fault because I ordered my steak (Porterhouse) medium rare. It came out very well done, wasn't tender or flavorful at all. My friend ordered the perch which was way over cooked, dry and crunchy. Won't be back, but the server didn't see to care as they are very busy. Maybe just a fluke, but not a good experience.

Fantastic food, outstanding service , nice vibe in the place, I took business colleagues there on a recommendation and now I highly recommend Mode’s. Will definitely return when I come back to Traverse City next month.

A group of us have lunch every Wednesday here. The soup is always great and the meats are exceptional.
The food was great! My comment is while looking through the menu the entrees were quite pricey though I know the food is good and the ambience is intimate I just can’t justify the pricing. We did get “sandwiches” they were pricey but we wanted to eat there so stayed and ordered those, waitstaff is always professional
Excellent food, have been there many times, a lot of food for your money! kitchen open until midnight!
