It's been a year since losing our little guy, and I've been really struggling with the anniversary coming up. I got home from a long day at work of trying to avoid thinking about him and in the mail was a sympathy card from them. It helped so much simply having someone acknowledge the situation after I've been trying not to talk about it and drag everyone down for the past however long. My heart hurts, but I am grateful for MN Pets - from the first phone call until they drove away with my Ruby and even now as I receive their daily grief emails I have felt supported and comforted by the staff. Thank you for this service, I will always remember having my final moments with her in our home while she lay comfortably in one of her favorite places.
Dr. Heather and MN Pets made putting our 17-year-old cat to sleep a lot more bearable. Our Lily was afraid of pretty much everything, and we just couldn't stand the thought of having the last moments of her life be at the vet's where she would be so scared, so having Dr. Heather come out to us made the last moments of Lily's life a lot more peaceful than they would have been. We had MN pets come into our home to help us say goodbye to a pet. They were so kind, supportive, and gentle. They created some beautiful mementos with clay, and made a little charm with his name on it. We really appreciate the extra touches that they offer to create a peaceful passing, rather than it being a cold, clinical experience for all of us. They carried him in a basket with a soft blanket after we said goodbye. It was so peaceful. I highly recommend this company. Thank you so much for your help!
I grew up with my cat, getting him in 2nd grade with my allowance and kept my promise to come get him as soon as I graduated from college. After 18 years together I could not imagine an ending that would be tolerable, but MN Pets gave that to us. They were so kind, empathetic and did not rush us at all; they allowed us to spend our last moments with our sweet old guy in our home and treated him with the utmost respect, which was such a gift. Highly, highly recommend this service.
A friend of mine knew I was starting to look at in home euth possibilities for my GSD/Rottie Max. Max was 12 and had been in a slow decline since he turned 10 or so. It's an incredibly difficult thing to watch as this extraordinary dog, who was my teaching partner at Petco, battle with his rapidly declining mobility.
