Best place to live I lived in Virginia Highlands, and I too rented a place from MLC Properties. After having one landlord-from-you-know-where experience, I am pleased and relieved to say that I got none of that from MLC. The house I lived in was beautiful. Definitely an older house, but *very* well maintained. Everything in the house worked beautifully, and if something did go wrong, it was fixed the next day. I would definitely recommend renting from MLC, as they are incredibly efficient and professional.
Would recommend MLC MLC Properties has been nice enough to work with me on my rent over the past few months since the economy has been bad and I've appreciated that. The apartment itself has lots of old charm and character which is what led me to renting it.
My apartment was so nice It was the best apartment ever, so beautiful. I heard the style described once before as old world charm, brick exterior building, big windows, glass doorknobs, built in china cabinets, and big spacious rooms with hardwood floors. My building was near the corner of Ponce de Leon and Monroe Dr. (742 Monroe) and I loved it there. The only reason I don't live there now is because I moved out of state, then out of the country.
