MLC Awesome! I lived in a MLC 1b/1b apartment when I moved to ATL. A couple months later, my wife moved to ATL as well. So, we want to switch to a larger apartment. MLC kindly helped us to look many of their apartments. With the help from MLC, we then smoothly moved to the one we are living in now. The MLC properties are in wonderful locations. The best of urban living I am a happy tenant of one of the apartment complexes MLC Properties operates. They have been great to deal with. Many of their properties are in beautiful intown neighborhoods. Mine, at 370 Peachtree Hills is near Marta. In an era when the world is changing and you might be too, you do not want to be hobbled with a home which cannot be sold, and distances to drive which require a credit card to pay for. I don't know another company with so many beautiful complexes.
great living with MLC! I have had a great experience living with MLC Properties. I moved from Nashville back to Atlanta and found a cool apartment with MLC Properties. They made the rental process and move in easy. Their website really helped. I would reccomend MLC.
I'd consider all other options first I would have to agree with R.J. on the central AC issue. I moved into one of MLC's properties late March when it was still pretty cool outside. If I had toured the apartment during the summer months I would have never moved in. With the A/C running around the clock my apartment still never gets below 80 degrees. I've had maintenance check it out and they just shrug and tell me it's an old building. I've had to supplement the lack of central air with a window unit and several fans. My aver... read more
AWFUL!! Worst place I've ever dealt with. My maintenance requests were ignored repeatedly, even when my apartment flooded!.. My windows had all been painted shut and I had to pry them open. Water pressure was AWFUL- and my showers were always either boiling hot or freezing cold. The only reason I stayed as long as I did was for the convenience of the location, and the laundry mat that was directly across the street. continued 1215 Virginia Ave NE this is a continues post...... Well, end of the story is I asked to pay one months rent ($1000) and move on from the lease as a penalty. I offered to send the check three time! Lisa nor Ed never called back. Two weeks later, a collection agency for MLC called me. They are suing me for $2500 in collections for early termination of a 12 month lease without cause. I was shocked. Potential renter's beware I recently rented an MLC property and I regret that I have. Although my apartment is a great size and I love my location, the property management is the worst I've ever experienced. I know it has been a hot summer and these are older buildings, but the AC in my apartment is sub par. It never goes below 80 degrees even at night with the central air conditioning, a window unit, and 3 ceiling fans running. MLC rocks! I live in one of MLC Properties apartments and it has been a great experience. I am a runner and love that I can step out of my door and just be a couple of blocks from the park for a run. When I first moved to Atlanta I was in the burbs and this is a whole new life! My building is an older brownstone with alot of character and great neighbors. I also have a balcony which is like an extra room for most of the year. I would definitely recommend MLC Properties if you are looking for an apartment intown.
