Avoid this company and its' Director - Andrew Russell Christopher like the Plague! Despite paying Mitre Oak Ltd. upfront for the majority of the project, the work has come to a standstill and I have now been informed by a member of staff that the company has been advised to go into liquidation. Not positive. Completely useless communication. Was expecting them to start on prearranged day but no show and when chased was told it wouldn’t be happening for another 2 weeks. This was a forewarning of what was to come. Continually promising we would have people and no one would turn up. Never an apology from the company Just more empty promises. Quite simply awful. Firstly they have a CVA (see companies house) and are probably trading insolvemtly. Secondly the quality is sadly lacking. Its ended up as a bodge job. I am soooooo upset and disappoited that I engaged these incompetent and untrustworthy cowboys. They took most the money up front and as soon as the third payment went in work ground to a halt. He now tells me he can't afford to pour the concrete floor @£500... 1% of what he has been paid... I still have no floor... no main door... no hardstanding outside..... read more
