Taking a break from giving platelets after a mishap. I decided to give it another try (yeap my tail between my legs). Well it was great that they had records of it and I really did not have to say anything. They knew exactly how I felt and made everything possible to ensure everything will be okay. It was and will be back...great job
Amazing staff! Yesterday I donated whole blood for my 7th time (1 gallon next time, woohoo)! This was the first time I had a reaction. I lost consciousness. I can't express enough gratitude toward all the ladies there who kept me safe and took care of me until I was well enough to leave. They went above and beyond in so many ways. Giving blood saves lives. Miller-keystone blood center makes it easy, safe, clean, and comfortable. I have given there before and plan to do it again.
Great organization. I gave over 5 gallons up till a couple years ago. Cannot take my blood anymore, as i travel to carribean yearly , mostly Dominican Republic. I REALLY enjoyed donating. The efficiency and friendliness of the staff was awesome also
I've donated whole blood for several years, but this year began to do platelets. I was very nervous the first time, but have to say the staff is awesome! They answered all my questions, and explained everything in great detail. They were very attentive while I was making my donation. Yesterday Jonathan took care of me, and just want to give him a big shout-out for a job well done. The great thing about donating platelets is that you can donate more frequently, so why not give it a try, and help someone in need.
