Amazing food, amazing experience! Mikado is, hands down, the best Japanese restaurant in Indianapolis! Their service is flawless, their food is incredible, and they tend to make the entire experience an adventure. While they are expensive, their food is worth the price: Succulent sushi, duck, steak, whatever your fancy, they have it, and they make sure it's GOOD. All in all a wonderful dining experience!
Tasteless and overpriced I love sushi and was excited to try this great restaurant since moving back to Indianapolis from New York and LA. I realize it's harder to get good seafood, let alone sushi, so far from a sea coast, but I was still hugely disappointed with my experience. The pieces of my chirashi dish were tasteless at best, but barely edible. My companion ordered the sauteed seafood dish (recommended by our server). Every piece was over cooked and dry. RecommendedWe are visiting from out of town. The interior is so relaxing and beautiful. Delicious maki and fresh salmon roll. Shrimp delicious also. It was fresh. I recommend this sushi restaurant.
